A common shrub of arid, and semi-arid enviroments ocurring naturally in all mainland jurisdictions except the ACT and VIC; althought most common in outback NT, SA and WA. Three subsp. are maintained by the ALA, subsp latrobei, subsp glabra & subsp filliformis.
